If you and your employer have together paid in for a full 1 year, and you did not quit of your own accord, you can collect benefits once you have registered as unemployed. With 1 year but under 5 years of payments, you get up to 12 months. With 5 years but under 10, up to 18 months. With 10 years or more, up to 24 months.
