Use the website of the People's Bank of China Credit Reference Center (人民银行征信中心) or your mobile banking app, and not a third-party "check your credit" app, because those apps are collecting your information. A negative record stays for 5 years from the day the matter ended, and should be deleted after that. If you disagree with something, you can file an objection, and you must get a written answer within 20 days.
