Don't worry about premarital property; put in writing who is added to the title of a home and how the parents' contribution is treated

In plain words

Property you owned before marriage is your own, and does not turn into shared property because the marriage has lasted many years. A couple can agree in writing that property from before and after the marriage belongs to each of them separately. One point to watch: if you agreed to add the other person's name to a home, you can still change your mind before the change of registration, and once it is registered it belongs to the other person. At divorce, a spouse who hid, transferred or squandered money or forged debts can be given a smaller share or none.
